You
can lower your utilities and your carbon
footprint.
You can be
more comfortable and have a lower utility bill with a
geothermal heat pump. Geothermal heat pumps
provide energy
efficient and earth-friendly heating and cooling. Save money while
saving the planet and staying comfortable.
Benefits
of geothermal heat pumps
Lower utility bills - as much as 60% lower
Greater comfort - better humidity control
Lower carbon footprint - no direct CO2
emissions
Longer
life span - greater efficiency results in longer equipment life
Geothermal
heat pumps provide
efficient and comfortable
space heating and cooling less
expensively. Geothermal heat pumps are 3
to 5
times more efficient than natural gas and
oil-fired furnaces, and they have no
direct CO2 emissions so they
don't contribute to global wamring.
Find out how you can save
money on utility bills and stay comfortable with a geothermal heat
pump that is professionally and efficiently
installed.

As part of
the economic rescue package (HR 1424) recently signed in to law
homeowners are
now eligible for a 30%
tax credit on the purchase of a
geothermal heat pump for a new or
existing home. Becoming more energy efficient has never been
so
easy. Download this report
from the DOE about geothermal heat pumps.
According to the US Dept. of Energy residential property accounts for
as much as 40% of total CO2 emissions in the US
for the purpose of heating, cooling and providing hot
water. This will obviously be a significant leverage point in
reducing our overall CO2
emissions in the US. Global CO2 emissions are
are track to hit
900 PPM by 2100, but expanded deployment of ground source
pumps
would signifcantly alleviate that issue. The US accounts for
22% of global CO2 emissions.
Within
these pages are ideas and suggestions for dealing with the peak oil and
gas dilemma. The recent surge in oil prices is primarily
a result of
increasing global demand; however,
speculation and the devalueing
dollar are likely contributors. But fossil fuel dependence
is
an issue that requires a multi-faceted
solution.
Geo-exchange heat pumps are part of that solution because they provide
greater comfort at less cost, with reduced carbon emissions.

Disclaimer: This website does not make any claims of expertise on
the subject or theory of peak
oil. We are not petroleum
geologists and we do not have a peak oil 'theory', and make no
claim to know with any degree of certainty any peak oil
facts. We are not experts on peak oil survival or the ramifications or
consequences thereof; therefore we do not have any advice about how to
survive any prospective oil crash. We are aware that there is a peak oil myth,
but we are simply concerned about the earth's ability to sustain
current and future rates of oil production in the face of increasing
demand. We did not have any thing to do with any peak oil report you
may find on or through this site. We do not know the date of the actual
peak of global oil production. There are links on this site where you
can find out more about peak oil but we are not affiliated
with them. This site is simply one of many places to find the
latest news
on peak oil theory. Many links
lead to a peak oil blog. For more about peak oil theory go to Hubbert Peak.
There is also an organization called the Association for the Study of Peak Oil and Gas. We are not directly affiliated with either of
these organizations - and we may or may not support their ideas. We
do believe, in our heart of hearts, that there is going to be
some kind of peak oil crisis at some point in the future. But
we don't know when it will be.
